First Step Class

CarmelKidz has created a unique, 4-week class for children in grades 1-6 where parents and children come together to create memories and celebrate your child's spiritual milestone of asking Jesus to be their forever friend and the ordinance of baptism. This class is for children in grades 1-6 who are new believers, have questions about becoming a Christian, have already accepted Jesus as their Savior and want to be baptized or children who want to join Carmel Baptist Church. This class is a requirement before baptism at Carmel and is offered in January, February, May, October and November. 

Registration is simple. Contact Janice Mumpower to let her know your interest in a specific class. To make the class interactive, class sized is limited and pre-registration is required. First Step Class is taught by Sean Lee, our Children's Director.  We recommend that First Graders wait until at least January of their First Grade year to register for First Step Class.  Registration is now underway for the February, 2012 First Step Class.  February First Step Class will be offered during the 9:30 Sunday School hour.
